The Tulip ‘Long Lady’, ‘Tulipa single late’, a fall planted bulb, produces large and vibrant orange and yellow flowers on tall stems. Single Late Tulips finish off the tulip season. They bloom in late spring. The blooms are large, oval, almost egg-shaped, on a long, sturdy stem. Single Late Tulips are good as cut flowers, for beds, and borders. The Tulip ‘Retro Tulip Mix’, ‘Tulipa fosteriana’, is a fall planted bulb. Mixed Colors is a great mix of early large flowering emperor tulips. These large beautifully shaped flowers stand out from a distance. The flower petals are bright, inside and out. Plant in drifts for a spectacular display These tulips bloom in early spring for a 3 week period. For the best effects, plant the bulbs in clusters of 5 to 15 bulbs of one variety, or scatter clusters throughout the garden or flower border. Tulips do best in well-drained soil.
