Calla Lily - RehmanniiThe Calla Lily Rehmannii, ‘Zantedeschia’, a spring planted tuber, produces wonderful pink flowers with lightly splotched foliage. The flower is trumpet like in form and has a waxy texture. Calla Lilies are also know as pig lilies. The Calla Lily has sword-shaped leaves which are formed at the end of celery-like stalks. Daylilies are some of the easiest plants to grow and are a good choice for any gardener. The will grow in almost any soil and handle drought to wet soil conditions. Use for stand alone plantings, edging, in borders or in mixed containers and tubs.

These tulips flower in mid spring and they are very popular as cut flowers. Do not prune foliage until it has died back. Lily flowering tulips are not only reliable, but they also have a look of elegance. Lift the bulbs about every 5 years or so and replant when they become too crowded.
