The Calla Lily Rehmannii, ‘Zantedeschia’, a spring planted tuber, produces wonderful pink flowers with lightly splotched foliage. The flower is trumpet like in form and has a waxy texture. Calla Lilies are also know as pig lilies. The Calla Lily has sword-shaped leaves which are formed at the end of celery-like stalks. The leaves are heart-shaped and are a rich, dark green color that may be speckled. The Calla Lilly makes an excellent cut flower and are great container plants.

The Daylily Daring Deception, Hemerocallis ‘Daring Deception’, has beautiful dark purple centers with light pink petals and dark green semi-evergreen foliage. Daring Deception will bloom from early to mid summer and is a constant rebloomer. It can survive harsh conditions that many other plants can not and prefers full sun for the best performance. Daylilies are some of the easiest plants to grow and are a good choice for any gardener. The will grow in almost any soil and handle drought to wet soil conditions. Use for stand alone plantings, edging, in borders or in mixed containers and tubs.

The Tulip ‘White Triumphator’, ‘Tulipa lily flowering’, a fall planted bulb, produces bright white flowers that will look great in combination with Tulip Burgundy. Lilly Flowering tulips have slender, urn shaped flowers with pointed tips. They are quite tall and known for their long-lasting elegant flowers. These tulips flower in mid spring and they are very popular as cut flowers. Do not prune foliage until it has died back. If flowers are used for bouquets leave as much of the foliage as possible on the plant. Lily flowering tulips reliably come back every year. Lily flowering tulips are not only reliable, but they also have a look of elegance. Lift the bulbs about every 5 years or so and replant when they become too crowded.
