Lily - Oriental Hybrid - Stargazer Mixed
Lily - Oriental Hybrid - Stargazer MixedThe Oriental Lily Star Gazer Mixed, ‘Lillium’, a spring planted bulb, produces mixed colored stargazer flowers. Oriental Lilies are long lived, and they will increase in number year after year. They are ideal for summer bouquets because of their heavenly fragrance. Oriental lilies display huge flowers that are richly colored and are borne on long stems. Use them in flower borders or in your own cutting garden.
Lily - Asiatic - RodisoThe Lily ‘Rodiso’, ‘Lilium Asiatic’, is a fall planted bulb. Asiatic hybrid lilies with their straight stems, high bud count and generally brightly spotted blossoms, vary in shape from simple open bowls to flowers with exquisitely recurved petals. Colors of Asiatic lilies range from the softest pastels to fiery reds and oranges that practically ignite when the sun shines on them. The Rodiso produces fiery red-orange flowers. This plant blooms for a 3-4 week period in the summer. Plant immediately after purchase, as the bulbs must not be left to dry out. Well-drained soil is a must so avoid soggy ground. Plant where there will be some shade during the hottest part of the day so that flowers will hold their color. Remove faded flowers promptly for continous blooming. At the end of the season, allow the foliage to turn yellow and die back. After a frost, clip back the stem near ground level and apply a mulch cover to ensure the bulb makes it through the winter months. If planting in a container, start off in a cool, shady location for proper root growth. This Lily is good for containers, cut flowers, and borders. They attract butterflies and hummingbirds.
