Lily - Asiatic - Lollipop
Lily - Asiatic - LollipopThe Asiatic Lily Lollipop, ‘Lilium’, has flowers that will make you think of a little kid who’s been savoring a very delicious, and very red, lollipop. The tips of each white petal are stained a pretty cherry pink, just like the lips of a messy little child enjoying his lollipop. Asiatic Lilies are excellent for naturalizing and are not at all fussy about their garden situations. They need average drainage and full sun and other than that they are happy wherever they are planted. While Asiatic Lilies aren’t very tall, they are just tall enough to keep the flower buds out of reach of munching bunnies to regard this bulb’s leaves to be as tasty as a lollipop! Their height will be 24-30″.
Calla Lily - Pink PersuasionThe Calla Lily Pink Persuasion, ‘Zantedeschia’, a spring planted tuber, produces wonderful dark red flowers with lightly splotched foliage. The flower is trumpet like in form and has a waxy texture. Calla Lilies are also know as pig lilies. The Calla Lily has sword-shaped leaves which are formed at the end of celery-like stalks. The leaves are heart-shaped and are a rich, dark green color that may be speckled. The Calla Lilly makes an excellent cut flower and are great container plants.
Leucocoryne - Blue OceanThe Leucooryne Blue Ocean, ‘Leucocoryne ‘Blue Ocean’, a spring planted corm, produces beautiful blue flowers with a white eye. The Blue Ocean flowers are produced in clusters of lily-like blossoms on tall stems. This flower is wonderful as a cut flower or a long lasting garden flower. The grasslike foliage dies when or before flowering begins.
