    Tulip - Triumph - Synaeda Amor

    The Tulip ‘Synaeda Amor’, ‘Tulipa triumph’, a fall planted bulb, produce gorgeous pink blooms that begins to “blush” soft white around the edges. Triumph Tulips are the largest and one of the most important class of Tulips. They come in every possible shade of color possible for tulips, including some wonderful pastels. They are particularly esteemed for their beautiful, traditional “tulip” flower shape. Triumph Tulips have sturdy stems and withstand windy weather. They are great for cut flowers and they have a long vase life. These are mid sized tulips with compact leaves and shorter flower stems. They are ideal for pots or even a spring color hedge. Triumph tulips respond well to a cooling period of six weeks in the fridge prior to planting.

    Tulip - Lily Flowering - Ballerina

    The Tulip ‘Ballerina’, ‘Tulipa lily flowering’, a fall planted bulb, produces stunning orange flowers with a mild fragrance. The bottom interior of the flowers is tangerine to marigold-orange. The exterior is reddish orange deepening to a coppery red. Lilly Flowering tulips have slender, urn-shaped flowers with pointed tips. They are quite tall and known for their long-lasting elegant flowers. These tulips flower in mid spring and they are very popular as cut flowers. Do not prune foliage until it has died back. If flowers are used for bouquets leave as much of the foliage as possible on the plant. Lily flowering tulips reliably come back every year. Lily flowering tulips are not only reliable, but they also have a look of elegance. Lift the bulbs about every 5 years or so and replant when they become too crowded.

    Tulip - Double Late - Yellow Spider

    The Tulip ‘Yellow Spider’, ‘Tulipa double late’, is a fall planted bulb. This is a new introduction this year and is a very unique tulip with yellow petals and a touch of green on the bottom. The blooms truly look like a spider and they deserve a special place in your garden. These late flowering tulips are also excellent for southern climate zones. These tulips bloom in late spring for a 3 week period. For the best effects, plant the bulbs in clusters of 5 to 15 bulbs of one variety, or scatter clusters throughout the garden or flower border. Tulips do best in well-drained soil. It is advisable not to plant tulips in the same location in the garden year after year. If possible, plant in a somewhat sheltered location. Tulips are excellent for mass planting, rock gardens, containers, cut flowers, and borders.

    The Daffodil ‘Suzy’, ‘Narcissi jonquilla’, a fall planted bulb, have 1 to 5 flowers per stem. Most of these cultivars are fragrant and they make splendid displays along walks as well as edgings for beds. The blossoms last up to 4 weeks and appear in mid spring. They are great for mass plantings, containers, and borders. Suzy bulbs, once planted, can remain in the ground for many years. They will multiply and produce the most abundant flowering results in the 2nd and 3rd year. If necessary, very large clumps of bulbs can be lifted as soon as the leaves wither, and then they can be divided and replanted as soon as possible. After flowering, let the leaves yellow before cutting them back. The plants are deer, rabbit, and squirrel resistant.
