Daylily - Reblooming Collection
Daylily - Reblooming CollectionThe re-blooming Daylily Collection, ‘Hemerocallis’, contains 5 plants, 1 each of Daylily ‘Twilight Secrets’, Daylily ‘Blueberry Cream’, Daylily ‘Thundering Ovation’, Daylily ‘Wild Horses’ and Daylily ‘Lacy Doily’. Daylilies are the perfect perennial. Each plant sends up many flower stems, and each stem bears 12 or more buds. Bloom is lavish and continues for several weeks or more on each plant. Trouble-free, maintenance-free, they tolerate most soils and conditions if they get at least 6 hours of sun. Use them in a perennial border, in front of shrubbery, as an edging along a walk or wall, and in your bulb beds, where they hide the ripening foliage of tulips and daffodils. They need dividing only every 10-15 years. Plants 18-24″ apart.
Spring is in the AirThe Spring is in the Air mix will bring joy to any gardener who likes to see wonderful color combinations. This mix includes the early blooming Daffodil February Gold and Anemone Blue Shades. This provide a color scheme of bright yellow and blue. A true joy to any gardener and veiwer alike.
Daffodil - Large Cupped - SalomeThe Daffodil ‘Salome’, ‘Narcissi large-cupped’, a fall planted bulb, has ivory-white petals that form a flat circle - that’s the perfect backdrop for the trumpet-shaped cup, which changes from lovely yellow-apricot to salmon as the flower matures. The very edge of the cup is bordered in gold. No wonder this award winner is a favorite for showing! The blossoms last up to 4 weeks and appear in mid spring. They are great for mass plantings, containers, and borders. Salome bulbs, once planted, can remain in the ground for many years. They will multiply and produce the most abundant flowering results in the 2nd and 3rd year. If necessary, very large clumps of bulbs can be lifted as soon as the leaves wither, and then they can be divided and replanted as soon as possible. After flowering, let the leaves yellow before cutting them back. The plants are deer, rabbit, and squirrel resistant.
