Daylily - Darla AnitaThe Daylily Darla Anita, Hemerocallis ‘Darla Anita’ (Kinnebrew, ‘00), has big ruffled pink flowers edged in yellow with green evergreen foliage. Darla Anita will bloom from early to mid summer and is a constant rebloomer. It can survive harsh conditions that many other plants can not and prefers full sun for the best performance. Daylilies are some of the easiest plants to grow and are a good choice for any gardener. The will grow in almost any soil and handle drought to wet soil conditions. Use for stand alone plantings, edging, in borders or in mixed containers and tubs.

The dark green foliage makes a great contrast with its flower color. Stargazer has a plant height of 36 and is one of the most popular Lilys on the market today. Cutting the pollen off the middle of the flower, not letting it touch the flower, will increase the bloom time on Lilys. Blooming in mid to late June, Stargazer should be planted in full sun and in a well drained soil. Proven to be resistant to rots and virus, it should not be left out of the perennial garden.
