The Daffodil ‘Trepolo’, ‘Narcissi spilt corona’, a fall planted bulb, is a new split corona introduction with an unsual orange stripe in the center. This spectacular split-corona Daffodil looks like a double upon first glance. Trepolo is a showstopper in both the garden and in arrangements, where the unusual colors can be appreciated close up. The blossoms last up to 4 weeks and appear in mid spring. They are great for mass plantings, containers, and borders. Trepolo bulbs, once planted, can remain in the ground for many years. They will multiply and produce the most abundant flowering results in the 2nd and 3rd year. If necessary, very large clumps of bulbs can be lifted as soon as the leaves wither, and then they can be divided and replanted as soon as possible. After flowering, let the leaves yellow before cutting them back. The plants are deer, rabbit, and squirrel resistant.

The Hyacinth ‘Woodstock’, ‘Hyacinthus orientalis’, a fall planted bulb, is an intriguing beauty! Its mysterious iridescent burgundy purple color makes it the centerpiece of the border. You will be impressed! Combine it with yellow Daffodils for a spectacular garden picture. Grow them in or outdoors for their graceful shape, long-lasting blooms and sweet scent. Hyacinths are great for indoor forcing, containers, and borders. They flower in mid spring for a 3 - 4 week period. Hyacinths require a well-drained soil. If they must be planted in heavy soil, mix some sand into the soil. When planted in somewhat shady spots, the flowers will last longer than they would in the hot sun. For the best effects, plant the bulbs in clusters of 5 to 15 bulbs of one variety, or scatter clusters throughout the garden or flower border. Wear gloves to prevent skin irritation. These plants are deer, squirrel and rabbit resistant.
