The Daffodil ‘Quail’, ‘Narcissi jonquilla’, a fall planted bulb, is a delicate beauty for the front of the border, in pots or in the rock garden. It is a free-flowering miniature with dark yellow almost orangish colored cups. The blossoms last up to 4 weeks and appear in very early spring. The Daylily Edge of Darkness, ‘Hemerocallis’, has fragrant, 4″ soft lavender flowers, a strong yellow throat, along with very visible purple petticoat-like edges.
