Calla Lily - White
Calla Lily - WhiteThe Calla Lily White, ‘Zantedeschia’, a spring planted tuber, produces wonderful white colored flowers with lightly splotched foliage. The flower is trumpet like in form and has a waxy texture. Calla Lilies are also know as pig lilies. The Calla Lily has sword-shaped leaves which are formed at the end of celery-like stalks. The leaves are heart-shaped and are a rich, dark green color that may be speckled. The Calla Lilly makes an excellent cut flower and are great container plants.
Lily - LA Hybrid MixedThe LA Hybrid Lily Mixed, ‘Lillium’, a spring planted bulb, produces beautiful mixed colored flowers. LA Hybrid Lilies are a cross between an Asiatic lily and a trumpet lily wich gives them more color and giant blooms. Lilies are great for borders, beds, and containers. They prefer well drained soil and they will multiply each year. Allow the leaves on the stalk to turn yellow and fall off to provide the bulb with ample nourishment for the next growing year.
Daylily - Select CollectionThe Select Daylily Collection, ‘Hemerocallis’, is perfect for daylily collectors. This special group of hybrids is spectacular in the sunny garden. Each cultivar has outstanding colors, markings, and ruffled edges. Experienced daylily growers, and novices alike, will delight in the summertime display of big showy flowers. Daylilies are the perfect perennial. Each plant sends up many flower stems, and each stem bears 12 or more buds. Bloom is lavish and continues for several weeks or more on each plant. Trouble-free, maintenance-free, they tolerate most soils and conditions if they get at least 6 hours of sun. Use them in a perennial border, in front of shrubbery, as an edging along a walk or wall, and in your bulb beds, where they hide the ripening foliage of tulips and daffodils. They need dividing only every 10-15 years. Plants 18-24″ apart.
Daylily - Darla AnitaThe Daylily Darla Anita, Hemerocallis ‘Darla Anita’ (Kinnebrew, ‘00), has big ruffled pink flowers edged in yellow with green evergreen foliage. Darla Anita will bloom from early to mid summer and is a constant rebloomer. It can survive harsh conditions that many other plants can not and prefers full sun for the best performance. Daylilies are some of the easiest plants to grow and are a good choice for any gardener. The will grow in almost any soil and handle drought to wet soil conditions. Use for stand alone plantings, edging, in borders or in mixed containers and tubs.
